Happy 2nd birthday Delaney!

I cannot believe our little BABY is 2 years old! It doesn't seem possible, yet I can't remember a time when you weren't around. Delaney, you are just the sweetest little girl ever! You love to be girly and dress up in princess costumes, jewelry, shoes and dresses. You absolutely amaze us with your talking (both amount and content!) and carry on full conversations with everyone. You are a Daddy's girl, always asking for him first thing in the morning and all day long (he loves this you know!) You love to play with your princesses and know all of them by name (I think Sleeping Beauty is your favorite because she is pink). Every week you look forward to "sastics" (gymnastics) and love to show us your leg extension and needles. Did I mention you ask me to turn on music ALL the time so you can dance? In the car you are quite opinionated and tell us what songs you like and don't like. If you like the song, you sing right along with it. I just can't say enough about you! We love you so much sweetie!

A Weekend in the Snow

Makenna performed for the NAU halftime show this weekend, so we made a trip to Flagstaff to enjoy the performance and the snow! Unfortunately this will not be documented in pictures (our camera is missing the charger because Christian accidentally threw it away!)

Here is the performance on video:

The next day my parents (who also came to Flagstaff) and our family (minus Delaney who stayed with the Farmers (thank you!)) enjoyed some fantastic snow! They did get a disposable camera but we were having so much fun we kept forgetting to take pictures! It was the perfect weather! It was the first time Makenna and Camden had seen snow fall from the sky and they loved it. We found an area right on NAU campus that had a small hill perfect for the kids and a huge field to build a snowman and just play in the snow. I am so glad we stayed up there to play because we really had such a great time. I think Nana and Papa did too!

I took a few videos at the beginning, but then like I said, we were having so much fun we kind of forgot to take more. While I love capturing the moments on camera, sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the moments and we surely won't forget it!

Makenna and Camden had an "awesome" time and can't wait to go back next year, and next time Delaney will come!

Valentine Day with the Taylors

After our date, we went over to Neena and Poppy's for dinner and games. The kids were excited to get even more Valentines presents.

Pat gave Grandma Berenz a great frame that had her 3 great-grandchildren in it.

Delaney really like it.
Then the kids went to bed.

And the adults played Wii.

A nice Valentines Day!

A Valentines Date

Christian and I got to go on a date on Valentines Day! I kid you not! Kelley was so kind and came over to watch the kids for a few hours so we could go out. And it was her idea!!! What a great friend.

Christian and I decided to go to Cheesecake Factory and we LOVED what we ate and we LOVED that we didn't have to cut up anyones food, and we LOVED that we could carry on a conversation without and interruption every 2 minutes. It's not that we don't love going to dinner with our kids, but sometimes you need a kid-free dinner!

Here is the amazing food we had.

Christian's Spicy Chipotle Chicken Pasta

My Louisiana Cajun Chicken Pasta

It was so nice to spend some time with my fantastic husband!
Thanks Aunt Kelley (the kids had a blast with you!)

Valentines Weekend with Wards

We spent Saturday afternoon at my parents visiting with my grandparents who are visiting for the week. Nanny and Gramps are snowbirds, but it seems like forever since we've seen them too.

Nanny and Grandma

Gramps
That is a Makenna smile if I ever saw one! (This is really Camden in case you didn't know! )Look Indy (the Famer's dog), he's as big as Delaney!
We were missing Daymon, poor guy is sick, but I wanted to take a picture of the seven we had. That is a task sometime! This is probably the best one, but look at the others.
(Julia looks a little scared, and Laney is looking right at her)
(Laney is dancing and Makenna is laughing at her)
(Notice Delaney has moved to a new location and yet Makenna is still laughing at her)
The the kids like to wrestle.

We missed you Michelle and Daymon!
