Table Rock

Well, with a camera breaking the first night we were on vacation, there really weren't a lot of pictures of our little family. When you compile everyones pictures, though, it ends up being a lot! :) Here arejust some of the pictures in completely random order.

Laney and I tubing.

Papa and Camden

Makenna and Jenny (Makenna is becoming more daring and wanted to go faster and faster!)

The Wenstrom Family

Quincy and Amy

What up Roman?!

Zoe driving the boat

Makenna tried wakeboarding!

Katie and Camden

Our two peas in a pod

Candy brought this great bounce house.

The first night we got there (where the unfortunate event where the camera fell off the balcony occurred)

We got to the lake a day before everyone, and we went out to lunch with Nana and Papa.

And of course lots of wakeboarding. I can't believe we have no pictures of Christian doing it, but I only wakeboarded once and have a picture. Poor Christian!

One night we roasted Grandpa for his 80th birthday.

Maddie and Ben at the pool

Dylan and Amy

Leslie and Roman

Bridal Shower for Katie

Booze Cruze

And the winner for Beer Pong 2010 is.....Christian and Michael

There was a lot of icing going on (way too complicated to explain).

Laney zipsledding

Camden skimming (he totally got tricked, thanks Michael!)

Great vacation!

Table Rock Lake....The Drive

So, this being our first LONG road trip, we were quite prepared to keep 3 young kids entertained for 23 hours. They were amazing though! When you tell them that they will be in the car from the moment they wake up to bed time, I guess they just adapt.

We did decide to make some stops the first day....to ease them into it. (Plus the 2nd day was going to be long anyway!)

Our first stop was a surprise visit to Neena who was up in Forest Lakes.

The kids enjoyed a little time getting our their energy at the playground.

After this first stop, it was time for their first movie. We brought along a TV/DVD that I got for Christmas and it was like a movie theater for the kids! Christian rigged up some bungee cords so we could take it down as needed too. Look at this!

In Albuquerque, we had planned on stopping at a children's museum. We got there at 4:00 and it closed at 5:00, so we went through that museum SO fast. It was a perfect place to stop though. The kids could be a little loud and were so excited to run from one exhibit to another.

There was a water fountain that had exactly 3 buttons to push to control...perfect for our 3 little travelers.

They made some music.

And blew some bubbles.

And played with air.

And did TONS more that I didn't take pictures of.

Then it was off to Amarillo, TX for the night where we met up with my parents. The next day we caravaned with them. One of Camden's gifts was this basketball goal I rigged up to play. It entertained him for HOURS. :)

We did manage to stop at the McDonalds with the largest arches. How could you not love that face?!
LONG trip, but we made the best out of it. :)
