Delaney's First Dance Class

Delaney had her very first big-girl dance class today! She has been wanting to go to Makenna's classes for a long time now, and it was finally her turn. She is in the Broadway Baby class.

Here she is all ready to go with her cute little dance bag.

Makenna actually started with the same teacher, Ms. Brigitte, when Makenna was almost 3. Brigitte was teaching at the rec center and Angela and I signed up Bailey and Makenna. For that entire summer I brought Makenna each week and she never participated! She never cried, just sat to the side and watched. It's so funny because now Makenna knows Brigitte so well that last year Brigitte choreographed her solo!

Delaney knows Brigitte, and with her more out-going personality, she did great. She participated the entire time and was such a good listener. After class she was so excited!

Can't wait to take her back next week!

Makenna's First Day of 1st grade

Makenna had her first day at a brand new school...the one I teach at! She is is 1st grade this year and the big change is going to school all day after only going to half-day Kindergarten.

I was able to choose her teacher so I know she is really nice. Here is Makenna and Mrs. Reese.

I am very excited to see Makenna at school whenever I want. :)

Camden 1st Day of Preschool

Camden had his first day at a brand new school this year. He is going to a private preschool where he is required to where a uniform.

Camden's favorite part of the day? "I got to eat pineapple, graham crackers and apple juice."

He's getting so big! :)
