Which way to the zoo?

Well, if you have missed seeing pictures of our family...prepare to be overwhelmed!  This is a LONG post filled with pictures from our trip to the zoo.  The kids and I had a week off of school for Fall Break, and we made the most of it.  Christian took a few days off work and on one of these we took the kids to the zoo.  Ross and Amy went too, and brought Reegan for her very first trip!  So glad we could share in Reegan's first zoo outing!

All 3 kids walked around the zoo the entire time with a map, showing us where we were, where we should go, and where the nearest food, bathroom, etc. was.
Reegan was ready for the day!
Kids are so funny!  They were so excited to see this turtle, plus all the ducks walking around that Delaney wanted me to take a picture.
 Look, Delaney with her map!
Reegan wasn't too excited to be IN the wallaby, she just wanted to people watch!
Every year the kids love climbing on the giant spider web.  Delaney wasn't too sure...

But she liked pretending to be in, "Kanga's tummy!"
 Camden the monkey!
Great balancing Makenna, must be all the practice you get at cheer!
Delaney gave in and gave it a try!
Aww, love this one of sweet Reegan!

What a cute little boy!
 The real wallaby.

This is on the elephant that we ALWAYS take pictures on.
And here they are almost 2 years ago!  (Different angle)
Delaney wanted to take a picture of me...pretty good photographer!

So then Camden tried.
 Delaney picture again.

Makenna took picutres of Uncle Ross and Reegan.
 And Aunt Amy.
Love, love, love this picture of Delaney!
 Our attempt at all 4.

 The beautiful maccaw.
 The spider monkeys.
 Makenna's favorite, the flamingos.
 Delaney being a flamingo.

Kenna and Cam being flamingos.
 Aww.
 Our monkeys.

 I love the giraffes.

 Sweet Makenna.
When they ARE getting along they are the best of friends.
 "Where else can we go?"
 Cool Reegan.
Excited to get out of the stroller!
It was a great day at the zoo!  Thanks Ross, Amy, and Reegan for coming with us!

Basketball Player in the House!

Camden started his very first season of basketball a few weeks ago.  Now, we haven't been overly impressed with his coach (he didn't even show to the first game!) but I have been SO impressed with Camden's playing.

He has never had basketball training other than a camp he took over the summer, so I didn't really know what to expect from his first game with no practice.  He did fantastic!  He was super aggressive and even took the ball down with the first possession and scored!  He was a little crazy offensivly, but was great at defense.  He got a ton of rebounds, a blocked shot, a few steals and a few points!  Not bad for his first time out!
Delaney had more fun posing for the camera.  She's starting to get used to being dragged to all of Makenna and Camden's stuff, but watch out world, she's and up and coming performer too!!
Camden taking the ball down the court.

Nana and Papa came to watch his debut.
 Passing.
 His serious face.
 Go Camden!
So proud of you little guy!

Camden's Bounz Party

This year Camden had his birthday in the same place Makenna did, at the Bounz House.  This was a COMPLETELY different party though!  Having a group of girls on a Thursday morning, and then having a group of football playing boys after a day of sports is like night and day.  The girls just jumped and had a good time.  The boys were CRAZY!  Things were flying through the air, kids were running around, people were jumping into each other....it was a lot more work with the boys!  Oh, and did I add that Uncle Greg, Papa and Daddy were able to make it to this party??? They were just as bad!

I was hardly able to take any pictures because my camera died,  But here is his friend Garrett before the party started.
There were 18 kids at the party, but at the beginning, it was only our 3 and Garrett lined up ready to go!

Makenna jumping on the fly wall.
 Riley
Yes, that is Julia on the slide...right after she broke her arm.  It was NOT my idea to let her do this!
 Morgan
 Delaney
The Phineas and Ferb cake (we tried ot change it Cardinals at the last minute but it was too late, he still liked it though!)

After this the camera died, but he had a great birthday!  Some gifts he just loved were his UnderArmour hoodie from the Farmers, Beyblades, and a new Cardinals pillow pet.  He had a great birthday!!!

Diamondbacks Game

For Camden's birthday present from Neena and Poppy, they took him to a Diamondbacks game.  Camden was so excited, and I think he had only been to one other game before.  Here is is meeting Baxter, the mascot.  Which he thought was funny because that is our cat's name!

Build-a-Bear

Delaney went with her class to Build-a-Bear to build their class pet.  I wasn't able to take her (EVERY field trip falls on a day I work..and I work part-time!)  Neena took her and she had a blast!

Here she is before class with one of her friends.
Waiting so patiently...

The teachers have them line up to all take their turns building their new pet.
Here is Delaney stuffing their new reindeer.
And helping with his first bath...
And next the pledge to take care of their new pet...Diesel!

Miss Rachel and some of the other kids.
Delaney already loves Diesel and we can't wait to take care of him!!

Cooties

Well, I realize I haven't posted in FOREVER!  So, I have a ton of posts in mind, I just need to sit down and upload all the pictures.  Coming up soon I have Camden's birthday party, Delaney's first field trip, and the much anticipated Makenna's modeling pictures!

I will do all of this soon, but I thought I'd start it all up with something my family has been asking for for a long time.  Here is Makenna's solo from this past year.  This was taken in May and I think it is one of her best! She had such an amazing year and we are so proud of her!
