Visiting Santa

On Sunday, we got all 8 grandkids together to do our yearly Christmas picture. Surprisingly, no one cried! Well, at least at the beginning. The picture only turned out okay though, it is very difficult to get a good picture of 8 kids that are 6 and under! Not every child has the best expression, but there are not tears, no closed eyes, no one is yawning, no one is sneezing and everyone has their head turned in the direction of the camera. I deem that success!!

After pictures, Megan, Christian and I noticed the Santa line was very short, so we asked the kids if they wanted to visit Santa. Of course they said yes!! While waiting in line the kids watched a train go around the Christmas tree and it snowed on them (the only snow they'll see!). After the Farmer girls sat on Santa's lap, it was our turn. Nervously, Makenna and Camden approached Santa and let me put them on his lap. This is what they asked him for:

Makenna: a cupcake with purple frosting (she wanted a cupcake last year too and got it), a Tinkerbell doll and a Tinkerbell clock (she is dying to have a clock in her room so she knows when she can get up from nap).

Camden: a train (do you think waiting in line and seeing a train had any influence???)

Then we did the typical picture where I throw Delaney in really quick and she screams. So fun!

Of course last year Makenna and Camden both cried. We saw Santa at Disneyland and here is that picture.

Can't wait for Christmas!
