Legoland Day 2

The next day we got to the park when it opened with a plan in mind. Christian mapped out all the places we wanted to make sure we made it to. But first we stopped at this really great "family" on the way into the park. Isn't it just incredible, they look real!

We had to take a picture with Bob the Builder, a show the kids love to watch at Nana and Poppy's house.

Then we went to Miniland. Wow, it was amazing! They have all the famous structures from major cities all in legos. There are cars moving about, people, buildings, everything! My parents were in Vegas while we were gone, but Legoland had its own Vegas. Here is Makenna in front of Paris.











The details were just amazing. I stopped taking pictures so I could take it all in. They had all the famous sites from New Orleans, San Francisco, New York, Washington DC...just incredible!


One special feature they had while we were there was the inauguration set-up. It was crazy the number of people they had and just reminded us what an amazing time this is.












I could have spent much more time here, and the kids did enjoy it, but they were ready for some rides! So it was off to a jousting ride. It was so cute because they just be0bopped around this little course, their horse bouncing.

I then started getting concerned Delaney's head was getting sunburned, so Nana picked out this adorable hat for her.

Then more lego time, this time Delaney joined in.

On day 2, our second injury occurred, this time to Makenna. Makenna and Camden were chasing each other in circles around me and bumped heads. Makenna started crying and I of course tell her she is fine and to stop crying. Then blood starts pouring out of her nose! I felt bad! We had to get her some ice to stop the bleeding and then moved on to the 3D show.

The day was just about over so we rode a few little rides, shopped for some legos and had to leave. Whoever said Legoland could be done in only one day obviously didn't have children nor could they have truly enjoyed the lego masterpieces. Two days was almost enough.
