Our little girl is 1 1/2, yeah! So, what is she up to these days?Chatty Cathy- Laney is quite the talkative little girl. I can't tell if she is just like her Mommy, older sister, or even older brother (we all talk a lot!) I can't even begin to list all the words she is saying, and I think 2-word phrases are starting to pop up. She loves to try and sing Happy Birthday and the ABC's, asks to eat constantly, and picks up random items and asks, "this," so we can tell her what it is.
Nicknames-Laneybug, Bug, Bugs, Laney, Lane, Laneycakes, Buggers
Discoveries-Her interests are becoming so much more obvious as she develops her own opinion of things. She loves Mickey Mouse and the other day was so excited as she ate because as she picked up the food, "Mouse" appeared on the plate under her food. Laney also loves pointing out pictures of Elmo even though she has never seen the show. (I really need to Tivo this)
Dancing Queen-She is still really into purses, carrying them all over the house, and dances whenever there is music playing.
Curly Sue-The other day, I tried to put a ponytail in her hair...it isn't quite long enough, but it will get there. She has cute curls though!
Modeling-I had her 18 month pictures taken, and of course there are purses in the picture, the best way to get her to cooperate.
I am a little behind in doctors appointments, so I will post these results at a later date, but I will end with a picture of our little bug (who starts Parent and Tot gymnastics class next week).
