What a great day for Makenna! She competed at Rainbow Connection and won 1st place Elite Mini overall! She got Double Platinum and $50. THEN, she was selected for their "Rainbow Mascot Award" for overall dance spirit and got to take home this HUGE bear. She was so excited!I was finally able to buy some pictures of her routine, so you can see what it looks like. :) I also got the video, so I will have Christian upload it as soon as possible.
All the other dances did great...Minis and Juniors took 1st place Elite, and their line (the routine with the whole company) got 1st also. All routines Double Platinum. So fun!
But the best part you ask?? Makenna and her new friend, Peaches. If you squeeze his hand he makes a kissing sound and says, "I love you," and his (her?) cheecks light up! :) She tried sleeping on him the first night but he took up the whole bed!
