Our little Makenna, who always gets mistaken for a Kindergartner (and will probably have the same problem next year), is finished with 1st grade and is now officially a 2nd grader! Where has the time gone? I have LOVED her being at the school I teach at this year! It is so fun to go on field trips, see her when I have to visit her classroom for other reasons, and pop-in during lunch just to say Hi. Before school I have loved how each morning that I work, she wants me to put on music so she can dance around my classroom while she waits for school to start.
I have enjoyed seeing her make new friends at school and how I can get to know them. Here she is with Sasha and Lauren.
She had a wonderful and sweet teacher this year, Mrs. Reese, and I am so thankful that I could put Makenna with a person I trust as a friend.
First grade was great...I wonder what 2nd grade will be like?!
