The weekend before Labor Day, we headed up north to stay with Christian's parents up at their trailer. Unfortunately, my camera died as soon as we got their, so all of the pictures had to be taken with my phone. (Plus I didn't take that many). But we had an....eventful time!

His parents neighbors also happen to have a trailer up there, right across from Pat and Paul's, so this is where we stayed. The kids were SO excited to sleep on bunkbeds.

That afternoon, after we had been there for about 3 hours, a HUGE storm hit. I actually was putting on a movie for the kids over at the other trailer when it started pouring! The rain quickly became hail, and let me tell you, it is LOUD when it hails in a fifth wheel. Makenna, Camden and I had to run across to the other trailer while we were pounded on. Makenna was screaming, Camden was crying, and I was struggling to open the gate to get us in.
Needless to say we were soaked when we got there. It continued for quite a while, and I just sat on the couch with the scared kids. Makenna told me, "This is the worst day of my life." Delaney was the bravest one!

After the storm finished, we went to go look at the damage and it looked like it had snowed!

Makenna took a trashcan lid and went "sledding." Then she told me, "This is the best day ever!" Do you think she is a bit dramatic????
That night we went out to dinner and the next morning all the hail had melted and the kids played at the playground. Then it was time to head home.
