Star Systems

 Makenna had her first group competition of the year this past weekend.  They did fantastic!  There was some really tough competition and these girls really showed their stuff! 

On Friday night, Makenna competed her solo.  There were some great solos, and Makenna placed 3rd!  The only 7-year-old in the top five! (The rest were 8)  We didn't get home until midnight and then had to go back bright and early the next day.

These girls may not have gotten a lot of sleep but if they know they get to dance, they perk right up. :)  Their trio placed 1st overall...beating the trio that they lost to last year! :)

 Then it was onto groups.  Their small groups placed 1st, 3rd, and 4th. 

 Their large group, Hollyrock, placed 3rd.
