What are the kids up to?

I am currently trying to get my blog put into a book as a journal of all the things we have done over the past year (anyone who knows of a program I can use to do this, please let me know!). I want to create a book each year to chronicle the kids childhood, and this seems like a good way! Anyway, because this will be the first post for 2009, I thought I should tell what the kids are up to! Here they are!
Makenna

She spends her days singing, dancing, and pretending. Her current obsession is performing a solo. After the last Christmas show where her friend Bailey had a solo, Makenna keeps asking if she can do one. She wants music on all the time so she can pretend she is performing. Here are some pictures of her dancing and then a video of it.

Here are a couple of tumbling moves she is getting better at. She love tumbling and wants me to spot her on back walkovers and back handsprings all the time.

Camden

Camden pretty much only wants to talk about, play with and look at cars, trucks and motorcycles. His favorite book is a very detailed book called, "Mighty Machines." It is a non fiction book with 256 pages of pictures and information about all machines. He also loves looking at cars wheels!? Every time we get in the car, he tells me, "Momma, I like your wheels on your car." I am not really sure what it is that he likes, but he looks at other cars too. I need to learn a little more about this subject.

He will be starting a tumbling class next week, so hopefully he can expand his horizons. He has his own syle of dance.

Look, I got him to stand on my shoulders, I was proud of his courage!

Delaney

Laney just loves being curious. She crawls and cruises all over the house, touching everything, trying to get a feel of what is okay and not okay to touch. She really likes cell phones right now, and if you hold it up to her ear she tries to say, "Hi."

She got a power quad for Christmas, and even though Camden thinks it is his, Delaney really like to be on it too. Here is the day she opened it up. Thanks Nana and Poppy!

She also loves looking at herself in the mirror. She gives herself kisses, although sometimes she leans forward so hard she bangs her mouth pretty hard! That is what this video is!

I swear the outside of you house in one of the pictures looks like my mom's house. Do you live in Chandler?
