Halloween Party at the Taylors

Christian's parents and friends/neighbors held their second annual Halloween Party last weekend and although I have limited pictures, we had a fabulous time! I am still so limited with a camera that has no view finder and no lcd screen, so I am highly unmotivated to take pictures right now. But I had to capture a few!!!

So, here are the kids costumes this year...

Camden had only one request once we visited the Halloween store...it must have a sword! What really struck him was an adult gladiator costume, so we managed to find a child size. His favorite part...of course the shield and sword!!!

Aww our little ladybug. I had to fight to get this costume everyone! I had already decided that this year our little "Laneybug" was going to be a "ladybug." I figured she is ONLY two years old, this is my last year to have a say. I forgot that Delaney is two going on 10. She insisted, "I am not going to be a ladybug, I am going to be a princess." Well, this went on for a few weeks and I never showed her the ladybug costume. When I finally did take it out she LOVED the antennaes and the big tutu. Ever since that day, she was only interested in being a ladybug...yeah!! :) Oh, and it helped that we bought her a ladybug basket. :)Oh deciding a costume for Makenna! What craziness! I really wanted her to pick something that we already have at home (we have SO many dance outfits) and originally she was going to. First it was a rockstar, then it was a bunny (which she did wear to a birthday party and school)Next it was Alice in Wonderland (the costume we were going to borrow didn't fit though), then it was a cat and finally, on the day we were shopping, it was a butterfly. We bought HUGE wings!Onto the adults. Christian is a beer pong cup. Remember he and Michael are defending champions, right?? By the way Ward Family, this costume will be brought to the lake, just not sure how to work it in??? Got any ideas????

I wore Megan's renaissance dress. Kelley actually got in costume (!) and was Snow White! She even won the costume contest for the girls! So glad you came Kelley! Here are the great hosts, who were "Good in the Sack."

My parents came dressed as a green army guy and a ghoul. Dad won 2nd place for the guys.
I have no more pictures, but the party had a great bounce house, the kids went trick-or-treating on a hayride (so fun!) and rode a horse. It was a fabulous party with great company. If I get more pictures, I will post them. :)
