The day AFTER we got back from our trip to Pennsylvania, Makenna lost her first tooth. This tooth has been hanging on for quite a while and we were just hoping it would wait until after the photo shoot. Luckily it did!
She lost it right before bedtime last night and was so excited to put it under her pillow. She was quick to point out that she hoped the tooth fairy didn't bring coins because she had tons of those!
She actually came in our bedroom at 12:00am to ask if we wanted to watch her look under her pillow for her money. I told her not until morning, and she said it was morning. I told her it was the middle of the night and she asked how much longer....um 7 hours!
When 6:30 rolled around, we went in and woke her up. She forgot at first, but then was excited to check under there.
She asked me to pack a soft lunch for her today so she could get used to it. It's funny to hear how it affects how she talks until she gets used to it too. Being a parent is so fun! :)
