Our little girl is 9 months! Hard to believe! I took her to the doctor and she weighed 20 pounds 5 ounces (75th percentile) and was 28 inches (65th percentile). Her head is still small like the other two. It was the best 9 month appointment I've ever been to. I was worried because Delaney has started becoming very attached to me, but she did great with the doctor. She didn't even cry when the pricked her finger! He looked in her ears, mouth, everything and Delaney was all smiles. Sweet baby!
Here are our newest things:
Crawling. She crawls all over the place (and not that silly worm crawl she was doing a couple of months ago). She loves to crawl in the playroom because of all the bright colors and new toys and loves her independence.
Standing. She loves to pull herself up on everything. This means we have to keep all tables, couches and chairs free of anything we don't want her touching. Not cruising yet, but I'm sure that will come soon... I am worried about the Christmas tree!
Eeyore. This seems to be her attachment item. Papa gave him to her when she was born, and he is the only animal I had that seemed the right size to sleep with, so she's had since about 2 months. Now, she just loves to snuggle her face right up to him and give him kisses. She wants to take him everywhere!

Attachment. She's hit that stranger danger stage and pretty much wants Mommy. Daddy is still quite important too, but she doesn't like going to other people too much unless they can distract her. It might be hard to get things done, but it's sweet and I love it!
One happy, healthy baby!
