On Tuesday, Delaney and I were killing time at the mall waiting for Makenna to get out of school when I came up with a great idea. I called Christian and said, "Do you care if I get Delaney's ears pierced while I'm here?" He said "No," I asked Laney and she said, "Yes," so we did!
She did fantastic. the lady piercing them wasn't exactly the friendliest but Laney did just fine. After the first ear, she didn't even cry...for like 20 seconds. Then just before the second ear she slightly whimpered, the lady pierced the second ear, she fussed a little more, then she got a sucker and she was just fine.
She loved looking in the mirror at them, and was most excited to show Makenna.
We did have a minor problem when she lost one the VERY NEXT DAY. I put one of my earrings in her ear and she has been fine ever since.
