Disneyland Day 3

Onto the 3rd and (sniff, sniff) last day.  We had SO much we wanted to get done in one day, and it just isn't possible.  Here are the kids waiting for Nana an Papa to come down.

Laney LOVED her new shirt, which had those holes at the end of your arms for your thumbs to go through.  She loves any chance to pose.
I love her little curly locks.
Sassy, sassy.
We didn't want to miss the chance for pictures in front of the castle.

Us. It was a bright day and Camden always has trouble with it.

We changed up buddies each day, and this day was Makenna and Morgan.
For the first half of the first day we decided to go to Fantasy Land and go on all the smaller rides.  These are still awesome rides and the kids always enjoy them.  Peter Pan is always a favorite.
And everyone always tells you to go on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Daymon and Delaney really wanted to ride the carousel.

"Driving" us crazy!
 Off to the teacups.

Silly dancing kids!

While walking to the next thing, we ran into Sleeping Beauty!
 And Cinderella.
Guess who was at Disneyland at the same time we were??? SANTA!!!.  The kids waited in line to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

Makenna told Santa she wanted a Belle doll that could read you a story, and a purse that you can color and decorate yourself.

Delaney wanted a doggie that can walk with a leash.

Camden wanted a scooter that you can put chalk on to see where you have gone and Squinkies.

Of course Mrs. Claus was there too.

Our Christmas picture (if I had actually mailed one out this year!)

We rode some rides and watched some shows before heading over to wait for the Jedi training.  Laney waited with me and showed me all her silly faces.

When the Jedi training started, they selected all the kids who they could "feel the force with."  Six of the 8 were selected (all but Delaney and Daymon which was more of an age thing).  The kids got ready for their training.

Then they got their light sabers.

They learned the movements needed to defeat the bad guys.
It was a good thing they went through training because look who showed up!  Darth Vader!
Each kid got a change to fight either Darth Vader or the Sith Lord.  Makenna was the first one of all the fighters!

 Julia fought the Sith Lord.
 Riley too.
 Logan too.
I didn't get pictures, but Morgan and Camden fought Darth Vader.  They all completed their training so they got certificates.
Nighttime soon came and It's a Small World was lit up bright.
And we found a spot for the parade.

I love the reindeer's faces.

Makenna was mesmerized by the parade as soon as one of the ballerinas in the beginning made eye contact with her and waved to her.  She thought that was so cool.
Nana and Papa always buy the kids their first pair of Mickey ears, so this was Morgan and Delaney's first trip and they took them to get ears.  They ran into Mickey on the way.

Both girls picked out Minnie bride ears with veils and tiaras.

We had all kind of gone different ways after the parade, but met up later to ride our last ride, It's a Small World.
Before we met up, the kids each picked out something special to take away from Disneyland. Camden picked a light saber.
Makenna picked out a baby kitty from Aristocats that came with a cute blanket.
And Delaney picked out a baby Bambi with a blanket.
Final pictures were in front of It's a Small World.

All the kids and Nana and Papa.
Thank you so much Nana and Papa!  It was amazing!
For Christmas we bought a special board to put some pictures of our trip on.  The kids got together to take this final picture...
