Holiday Showcase

Dance is definitely not just for Makenna anymore! Camden and Delaney both participated in the December recital and rocked the stage.  Both of them take a hip hop class  this year.

Delaney's class is called, "Itty Bitty Hip Hop".  She was sitting in the audience watching the show and when it was her turn to go backstage, she informed her teacher, Ms. Alyssa, that she did not have to do it. It totally shocked me that she didn't want to dance on stage.  Another teacher talked to her, and right before they went on, she told Delaney they would just go see what was going on at the stage.  Well, that happened to be right when her group was supposed to perform, so Delaney just walked right out there with them and did it!  So funny!  She ended up loving it, and was so happy she danced on stage.  She says the only reason she went on stage was because she, "changed her mind."  She is a stubborn little thing!  I'm glad she loved it, and now she can't wait until the May recital!

Here she is doing, "Santa Baby." (Christian couldn't tell which one she was, so he zoomed in on 2 girls, luckily one of them was Delaney!  In the beginning, she is second from the left, and when zoomed in, she is the girl on the right that really shakes her hips!! :)

Camden takes a boy's hiphop/tumbling class too and just loves it.  He really is very musical and is pretty good!  He wanted to go on the stage and after dancing, he says he can't wait to do it again.  Our kids sure are performers!
